What Is EnTech?

EnTech stands for Engineering & Technology program of Greenville County, South Carolina. We are a robotics enginiering program offering year-round, after school, hands-on activities for all high school students, including home schoolers. Our main projects are our award winning FIRST robotics competition teams.

What Is FIRST?

FIRST (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology) has an imperative, singular focus: "to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership.”  It's a national organization who's mission is to transform our culture by inspiring young people to study math, science, engineering and technology.  Their FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), FIRST Lego League (FLL), and Junior FIRST Lego League (JFLL) are their main programs but they also hold traveling workshops and camps.
