Welcome to the website of EnTech, home of FIRST Robotics Competition Team 281 - the GreenVillains.   We are a nonprofit organization that promotes engineering and technology through our FIRST robotics teams and through outreach.   Our activities are made possible by the generosity of our sponsors and the dedication of our mentors and volunteers.   See About EnTech for all the details.

FIRST

FIRST (For Inspiration & Recognition of Science & Technology) is a national organization whose mission is "to inspire young people to be science and technology leaders, by engaging them in exciting mentor-based programs that build science, engineering and technology skills, that inspire innovation, and that foster well-rounded life capabilities including self-confidence, communication, and leadership."   Their main programs are the FIRST Robotics Competition (FRC), FIRST Tech Challenge (FTC), FIRST LEGO League (FLL), and Junior FIRST LEGO League (Jr.FLL), but they also hold traveling workshops and camps.   Every year, FRC, FTC, FLL, and Jr.FLL each have a different game.   For more information about the FIRST programs, go to our web page About FIRST or go to the offical FIRST website at www.usfirst.org.
